We stayed at a bed and breakfast with cozy fireplaces and fresh banana chocolate chip cookies, etc. We explored the little, and I mean little, town of Friday Harbor, had yummy lunches and dinners, went to the "ArtStock" and bought a small print for our living room. We explored the island and stopped at an old lighthouse. We watched for swimming mammals in the drizzle and were rewarded for our stout-heartedness by seeing something with fins 3 times. Alas, we cannot claim to have seen an orca, its fin wasn't tall and skinny enough, but there are several other options. It could have been two other kinds of whale, but was most likely a Dalle's Porpoise. Good enough for me!

Ah, see, NOW Annika looks like you. Immensely so. And is that a familiar-looking blankie I spy in the last picture?
Yes! Libby, she goes NOWHERE without it. She calls it "bi-bi" (she also calls her binky and stuffed animal of choice that day "bi-bi", I think it means "precious" in a gollum sort of way).It is simultaneously a princess cape, a blanket, a shawl, a cuddly, a food catcher and wiper and a funny tripper of little girls.

Well Meridith and I are both prego and due beginning of April. Hey when is your due date?
We are possibly moving to Connecticut? we're going to look at houses next weekend, Spence was offered a job there. Crazy huh!
