More hijinks

John and Annika were playing with the big, red, bouncy ball and Annika picked it up, (almost as big as she is), turned, and ran... straight into the couch, ball first. With a big bounce right off the couch, she landed flat on her back. She lay there, looking a bit stunned and confused while I won "Best Mother of the Year Award" by laughing my head off. John continued to actually BE the best father of the year by helping her up and making sure she was ok. He did, then, chuckle heartily.

That's hilarious! I chuckled myself. Sounds like she was having fun. By the way, who are you thinking will win SYTYCD? I've become a bit obsessive about the whole thing.

Annika might learn a lesson from running with the ball....however, she might just learn that if she runs a little slower, it could be really fun to bounce off the couch.

I agree. I think Joshua should win.

I have a question. Is your blog open to the general public? I was reading someone's blog today, and they had been infested by trolls, who spewed forth, in the comments section, venom and swear words and general ickiness, and it was really disturbing. I hate to be a paranoid freak, but you have included on your blog: your first name, your last name, your baby's name, photos of you and your cute baby, your hometown...

I don't want to be the voice of doom, but it does make me a teeny bit nervous. I know there's a way to make your blog only open to invited readers, and you could invite a whole bunch of friends of relatives, but no random strangers or evil trolls could happen upon it.

Am I just too old-fashioned? Not hip enough to get with the modern internet age? I use the internet a lot; I love to read other people's blogs. But I just was feeling so horrible about that blog I came across earlier this evening. It was really bordering on criminal harassment, I think. Luckily, that woman blogs under a pseudonym, and she gives her hometown as NYC, which is big enough that they probably won't track her down based on that.

Anyway, I'm sorry if this is an unwelcome comment. I'm probably being paranoid and silly. But I just thought I'd throw it out there for consideration.
