What??!!!!

So, at my weekly dr's visit this morning, my doctor says first thing, "so, how long do you want to be pregnant?" I said that this weekend, as "planned" would be great, but I wasn't too stressed. I sure don't want to go more than a week, but I'm ok. She said, "well, we can induce you today, if you want."

You could have knocked me over with a twinkie. I was so stunned that I didn't really have a response. When I recovered, I laughed and said that Friday would be pretty good. And that was that. So, we're scheduled to go to the hospital Friday morning at 8 and hang out until a baby is born. (And then some.) So, unless we go sooner, which the doctor said is very possible, (I'm dilated to a 4 and she did whatever she does to encourage natural labor) then we'll definitely welcome baby boy by the end of this week. When I called John and first said, "so, you want to have a baby today?" he also sounded a bit terrified. So, though it could still happen, we like planning for Friday.

We'll post info and pictures as soon as we can! I have to go clean my house, do my laundry and get every last thing that I've put off DONE! No time for fatigue or aches now.
