I'm making homemade soup. I add the "homemade" part, because I am using the soup as an excuse for a short, not that informative or funny, blog. So, really quickly:
We bought a house and we love it.
Annika can crawl, has two bottom teeth, stopped (yes, stopped) sleeping through the night, can pull herself up to standing, and can, to my surprise, climb stairs. She can also feed herself little pieces of food with her hand, and with a little help, feed herself with a spoon. She cannot, however, change herself, bathe herself, or do the laundry. So, I'm still pretty busy.
I think she is also starting to understand the concept of kissing. I kiss her a number of times in a row, saying "kiss, kiss, kiss" each time. Sometimes, if I say, "kiss" and wait for a second, her mouth gets real wide and she gets an expectant look on her face. To really help her get the concept, John and I are trying to be diligent in setting a good example. Of kissing. A lot. In front of her. You, know, for teaching.
Oops, soup needs me!

Well, I decided to rewrite my comment; us Prego women do have that right. Anyway, good job showing a good example over kissing. I know that is big steps in John's family. LOL (you know, the kissing in front of others). Have a great day!
