I really had dreams, despite my self-effacing start, that I would write daily and record with wit and intelligence the adventures of my life. However, my complete lack of any technical savvy stopped me dead in my tracks when I couldn't figure out how to get back to my blog. Really.
Also, despite mentioning the grand opening of my blog, I don't know how to invite anyone to read it. But I can imagine the adoring throngs!
Well, lets get to what any of you really care about: Annika.
At four 1/2 months she:
- has started to roll over and always looks a little surprised to find herself in such new and exciting positions,
- has continued to smile and smile and smile, and has started to add laughs in with them.
While visiting Grampa and Gran Greathouse, she has proved her imperturbable nature, as Zephyr (welsh corgie?) has repeatedly shown her (and me) who is boss of the house. He does so fairly loudly and forcefully, and she rarely bats an eyelash at him.
Annika also continues in her superhuman capacity for spit up. This is really not as endearing as it sounds.
She also has begun to scoot backwards forcefully and without warning. I dread the day when she flies off the changing table and am working on a strategy to prevent this.
In short, she is delightful in almost every way (see remark about spit up) and we love her dearly!

Ooh, ooh! Me! Me! I get to be the very first one ever in the whole wide world to comment on your blog! And here is my comment - no, it really doesn't even sound endearingn at all. It sounds, and is, gross! But we love her anyway. Congratulations on your blog. How do you make it only accessible to some people and not to the whole world? I might consider doing one if I weren't slightly creeped out about stalkers, unwanted publicity, etc.
I think you are awesome. Keep up the excellent work!
